Ephesians 6:12 KJV
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
One problem that our generation and every generation since the fall of Adam has faced has been those pesky little half devils the demons. Dealing with the buggers is tricky because there is a fine line between the acknowledgement of the reality and the giving of power to demons. Yes, demons exist and yes, they can lie and harass you; but we serve a God who is much more powerful. It is important to recognize the existence of demons but we need to not be afraid of them. The movie Rise of The Guardians was a perfect example of this. Yes, demons exist, we can believe they exist but we don’t need to be afraid of them. Fear and hatred is what they feed on. They can sense fear and doubt and when they sense an opening they won’t miss the opportunity to sneak in. Even though demons exist, we serve a God who, with a word, formed the universe from a void nothing. He created the world, and he planned you from the beginning of the world to have power over demons. When Jesus died on the cross and rose again he gave us, his sons and daughters, the power he carries as God and king of the universe. We are his children, kings and priests and our royal mission is to bring his kingdom, the kingdom of heaven, to earth. He has given us full power over the things of this world and we need to believe that. We carry a power that can undo the power Satan has wreaked on this world. We have a power so great that Jesus even said that we would perform even greater miracles than he did. We have a power unmatched by the powers of this world.
Demons, witches, sorcerers, and other powers will cringe when they see the light in your eyes, the power that you carry is unmatched.
2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Romans 8:15 KJV
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
